Courtney was kind enough to send this reader review my way. I’m actually thrilled that she reviewed this, ’cause uh, now I don’t have to. And just so you know, I actually have tried this out, and everything she said, I stand by 100%. Just in case you were wondering. But anyway.. On to the review!
PRICE: *Around $4*
PACKAGING: * Comes in one of those fat tubes. I’m not fond of it, some people are. I find it clumsy.*
TEXTURE/GLIDE: *The texture is thick and strangely grainy at first but mine became pasty and gluey depending on the temperature.*
FLAVOR/SMELL: *Smells subtly or chemical flower, tastes like silly putty. The smell lingers and it unpleasant.*
LASTING POWER: *Very poor. Under half an hour I’d estimate.*
INGREDIENTS: *None on tube and I threw out the cardboard.*
ANYTHING ELSE: * The reason I’m reviewing this is because this product dries my lips out to a terrible degree. I put this stuff on and under half an hour later my lips are like sandpaper with noticable flakes and sore patches. Perhaps I’m allergic, but regardless, the staying power of this balm is awful, it smells bad and it tastes bad.
OVERALL: * I’d give this balm a 0 but I’ll give it a half a lippie because it looks nice at least (goes on thick, makes your lips look glossy.

I agree, I really wanted to like the Nivea lip balms but I don’t like any of them! G(Quote)
I really wanted to like Nivea Lip Balms, but I really don’t like any of them! And I agree, the large lipstick like tube is my least favorite kind of lip balm tube. G – Lip Balm JUNKIE(Quote)
