This review comes from this awesome gal I know named Ashley (check out her Etsy shop at Rubbish Tees). Ashley and I have come quite the online pals because of this here blog, and if nothing else ever comes out of it, our friendship is good enough for me.
In my head, Ashley is pretty much the Etsy queen. When I have questions about an Etsy balm, I always go to her first. And so, it’s only fitting that her first review here would be for an Etsy balm!
And so, without further ado, I bring to you Ashley’s review on Country Heart’s lip balm!
PRICE: 2.75 for 1- 5.00 for 2 -You can buy them here!
PACKAGING: Standard white tube with a lovely white label.
TEXTURE/GLIDE: They take a couple swipes to warm up- then they glide like the best of them! The texture is light and wonderful.
FLAVOR/SMELL: This is my favorite aspect of this balm maker’s product! First of all I want to say that a lot of Etsy lip balm makers do not use a sweetener in their balms. Country heart does- and it makes for a delightful flavor and scent experience! I have the following flavors-
Root Beer- this one is so true to it’s name, it is very good, you can smell the bubbles, even more so than the Vintage Sister Root Beer!
Root Beer Burst- this one is a combination of Root Beer and Orange- it is amazing!! Simply amazing!
Orange- this one is more like fresh squeezed O.J. than any other orange balm I have tried.
Red Delicious Apple- A very tasty red apple!
Chai Tea- a very nice spicy Chai- has a slight tingle from the cinnamon oil 
Cherry Lemonade- this one is so sweet and so good! It is one of my favorite balms from my entire collection!
Cotton Candy- this Cotton Candy balm actually smells exactly like cotton candy- as they all claim to but this one is special- you can smell the spinning sugar!
Gingered Peach- this one is very very good- gingery and peachy!
Lemon Zest- This is my favorite Lemon flavor balm- it is very true and not at all household cleanerish.
Strawberry Cheesecake- this one is good- I don’t know if I would say it smells like its name but I like it a lot!
Mountain Dew- smells like Mountain Dew! No joke! It’s great!
Crème Soda- I love this one! It is a nice cream flavored balm.
Buttermint- MY FAVORITE!!! It is perfection! Just like America’s favorite after dinner mint! I love this balm and will always have one!
LASTING POWER: Is as good as any other balm- I don’t know if I can properly answer this one because I reapply excessively to smell and taste them again!
INGREDIENTS: beeswax, shea butter, olive oil, vitamin E oil, essential oils and or flavor oils, sweetener
ANYTHING ELSE: Pam at Country Heart is kind friendly and ever so sweet! I really enjoy every purchase I make from her! She also makes fantastic perfume oils, wax tarts, soaps and many other beauty products- all of which that I have tried were beyond expectation! Her soap is sudsy and decadent!
OVERALL: I have several of her balms and I do not intend to stop purchasing from her- she orders new flavors from time to time- upcoming is Starfruit, Cran-Grape, Tiger’s Blood and more!!
4 and a half lips out of 5- just because you have to get them going on the lips- but I want to give her a 5 because I love her that much

I bought some Country Heart Lip balm based on the review here, and I could not be more pleased. I bought full sizes in buttermint and marshmallow fluff – I would highly recommend either of those flavors to anyone.
I also bought samples in root beer burst (this seller really does have one of the best root beer flavors anywhere), raspberry, caramel apple, chocolate mint (YUM), and cinnamon bear. I could happily own a full size tube of any of these also. The seller was also sweet enough to include a free sample of cream soda, which is also divine. Ahhhh… 
The lip balm flavors are wonderfully true-to-life, and the texture is an absolutely wonderful concoction that doesn’t feel to heavy, yet has amazing lasting power. I will be back time and time again to this seller – I already have a few more flavors to buy: a full size root beer (for me and a friend who also loves root beer), buttery toffee crunch, green apple, orange chocolate truffle…..does any one need Christmas ideas for me?

I just gt my first order from Pam at Country Heart Gifts. I looove the lip balms! Sooo many flavors to choose from and excellent pricing!!
