Herban Lifestyle Lip Balm

Herban Lifestyle Lip Balm

Hold on. Gotta get something to eat. My stomach feels as though it might eat itself.

Okay, and we’re back with Cheerios and Herban Lifestyle!

PRICE: $5.00 at Herban Lifestyle

PACKAGING: A .5oz slide-tin. I know that some slide-tins have a tendency to be a little on the flimsy side, and a little difficult to open/close, but these aren’t like that. These are simple either way. The label on top is decorated with a large company logo, on a background of leaves. The flavor name is written small on the edge of the label, which I’m honestly not a huge fan of. I’d prefer the flavor to be written larger than the brand logo. On the bottom, you have the ingredients list, also on top of a background of leaves. I like the way they decorated the whole label, but I stand by my opinion that the flavor name should be a little larger.

TEXTURE/GLIDE: From finger to lip, this stuff has some pretty good glide, and leaves little to no residue on the finger. On the lips, it’s very smooth and creamy, and pretty light in texture. I’ll also comment that it moisturizes pretty well.

SMELL/FLAVOR: This is available in three flavors: Tangerine Dreamsicle, Dolce di Limone, and Mint Chocolate Chip. Tangerine Dreamsicle is a sweet tangerine scent. I should also let you know that the texture in the tin feels a little gritty, almost crystalized, but on the lips, it isn’t at all gritty. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Dolce di Limone has a very lemonade-y scent to it. Very tart with just a hint of sweet. Mint Chocolate Chip reminds me very much of one of those Andes after-dinner mints. It’s very sweet, slightly minty, and a little chocolatey. It’s pretty awesome.

LASTING POWER: These are really light in texture. To make this stuff last longer, you need to apply a few layers. A single layer gets sucked up within an hour and a half or so.

INGREDIENTS: Each lip balm contains slightly different ingredients. Check them out here.

OVERALL: The scents and the feel of this balm is great. The light texture and overall design of the label, though, really doesn’t thrill me. Still, not a bad balm by any means.
