I’ve gotten requests to cover this balm. Luckily for these folks who’ve been requesting, I’ve already been a fan of Givin’ Me Lip, created by two gals with a passion for crafting. The inner alcoholic in me (really, really inner — I don’t drink) has been hooked ever since I discovered their Bartenders Balms several months ago or so. Mmm..
PRICE: $3.25 at Givin’ Me Lip
PACKAGING: Your standard sized tube. My only, only complaint about this balm is the label. It’s like they took business cards and wrapped them around a tube, and tried sticking them in place. Not a single one of my tubes of their balm has a label that stays in place. Other than that, the design is adorable. The different lines have different designs that are all very creative and adorable while keeping a really cool edge to them.
TEXTURE/GLIDE: The glide is easy and smooth without being oily. The texture is a nice medium between heavy and light, and they moisturize amazingly well.
SMELL/FLAVOR: Of their many flavors, I have six (so far!): Bailey’s & Cream, Long Island Iced Tea, Captain & Coke, Black Cat Cherry, Pumpkin Pie With Whipped Cream On Top, and Vanilla Cupcake With A Cherry On Top. Bailey’s & Cream has a slight Irish cream scent to it. Long Island Iced Tea is awesome. It reminds me of something I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s a sweet scent with undertones of something sharp, almost tart. Captain & Coke has a slight maple scent to it (to me) mixed with cola. Not bad, but not my favorite. Black Cat Cherry is an awesome black cherry scent. Pumpkin Pie With Whipped Cream On Top is a really great, spicy pumpkin scent with undertones of creaminess. Vanilla Cupcake With A Cherry On Top is amazing. Very sweet, very cakey, and a slight hint of cherries.
LASTING POWER: These last about two and a half hours, give or take. They smell so good, though, I don’t mind reapplying.
INGREDIENTS: All of them are vegan, but have different ingredients depending on the flavor of balm.
OVERALL: Awesome, awesome balm. I will definitely getting more of these at some point (I have my eye on Disaronno On The Rocks, mmm..). They smell awesome, they have some awesome ideas behind them, and they feel great. Again, my only complaint is the labels, but that’s something I can easily overlook with a bit of Scotch tape.

I found the same problem with the labels; I just put packing tape around most of my tubes. It is wonderful lip balm though! I’ve currently got my eye on the pumpkin pie one. YUM. Kristi(Quote)
*jumping up and down with joy* Oh, thank you so much for the wonderful review. You are one of our most favorite customers by far! We are so pleased that you liked our products enough to blog about them. One tip for the label is only remove the top part of the shrink wrap where it perforated, that way the shrink wrap stays on the label to protect it, at least that was our intentions
. Just run your fingernail arround the perforation and it should come off the top fine. We have not yet found a way to make our own labels and have them waterproof at the same time. We have considered having them printed somewhere else, but where is the fun in that? And then they wouldn’t totally be “handmade” by us…well except for the tubes of course…LOL..Thanks again and we look forward to a nice long relationship with you to supply your lip balm needs, wants, addictions? I liked the flavor and smell of this one, but it leaves a white film on my lips. Maybe I got a bad batch? Kristen(Quote)
