I first came across this product when stumbling upon Baby Bear Shop, an excellent site for all the organic mommies + babies out there. I mean, once you get past all the excruciatingly cute nakey babies, that is.
It was love at first site with this lip balm. There isn’t a single thing I don’t absolutely uh-dore about the packaging, and the name! Oh, the name. Precious, isn’t it? Don’t you just kinda want to run out and buy it based on the name alone?

PACKAGING: Each one of these balms is in a little .25oz slide-tin. The lid secures nicely, and I’m a fan of that. The lids are so nicely designed. So happy. So whimsical. Lots of swirliness and curliness. And amongst the prettiness is the flavor name, then brand name, and then a nice little “organic” label. On the bottom of the tin, there’s a short list of tiny ingredients that I can’t read.
TEXTURE/GLIDE: When you first touch this balm, you can tell by how light and smooth it is. The glide from your finger to your lips is pretty amazing, and I love how little you need to cover your lips. The texture is smooth, thin, and very light. Very moisturizing.
SMELL/FLAVOR: In the three pack, I have Pepperminty, Chai Mandarin, and Lavender Vanilla (you can also buy Pomegranate separately). Pepperminty is a very nice, natural mint that tingles slightly on the lips. Chai Mandarin is very chai, very Christmas-y. I don’t smell too much of the mandarin. Lavender Vanilla is very lavender, and slightly vanilla. It’s very soothing.
LASTING POWER: When feeling the light texture of this balm, I expected it to not last very long at all, but I was surprised to find that it lasted about an hour to an hour and a half before starting to wear off.
INGREDIENTS: I can’t find the ingredients on the website, and I can’t read them off the packaging. But I assure it, it’s safe and organic.
OVERALL: I’m really, really in love with this balm. I’ll admit a lot of that is purely based on appearance, because seriously, how can you not love the way this looks? But the balm is also very good, and.. Yes. Buy it. You won’t regret it.
